Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I have a bunch of new projects to build this year and I’m sure I’ll need advice along the way. I have some background in sawmilling but currently do not own a mill :( My neighbors wouldn’t be too thrilled if I parked one in my yard. I work for a large retail chain as a manager and spend the rest of my time with my kids, my wood, and fixing my house. Have a great week.

Let me joint the crowd and send a welcome…Milwaukee is a part of my old stomping grounds when I lived in Waukegan for a time. I was so used to the great west that I drove all over Illinois and Wisconsin just to see the sights…I loved Milwaukee…I thought it was so clean and the food!!! The ol’ German in me fell in love with Usinger’s. Okay, enough, a great big welcome and hope you enjoy.

Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome. There certainly is a lot of great food in Milwaukee Barry. Every now and then I’ll take my kids to the Jelly Belly factory in Waukegan. It’s a fun trip.
