My workshop is in our slightly small two car garage. Somehow, I was able to convince my wife to park in the driveway :). My current main tools are:
Ridgid TS3650 10” Contractor’s Saw (with stand)
Ridgid 14” Bandsaw
Delta 6” Jointer
Delta 13” 2 speed Planer
Delta 12” Drill Press
Bosch 1617 evsp Plunge and Fixed Router
Bosch 12” Compound Mitre Saw
Dewalt Circular Saw and Jigsaw
Porter Cable Biscuit Joiner
Various nail pneumatic nail guns
and various other tools that are always expanding.
I see all these great projects in my head, and then I try to figure out how to make them with my skill set, and the tools I have. Unfortunately, this means that I get sidetracked making tools (dead blow mallet, marking guage) and jigs (just finished a finger jig), and fixtures (just finished the outfeed stand for my TS and made a rolling cart for my new planer but I got sidetracked and didn’t finish the drawer) and then I get sidetracked and run out of time and never finish the project I started on. The life of a lumber jock I think…:)
I think that next on the list for purchase is a Dust Collector, as I am tired of just using the shop vac. It just doesn’t do a good enough job.

“had to buy a few tools” Just a few…looks like you have a pretty full shop there! Better get busy making sawdust.

I’m jealous! I’m getting there, but I’m jealous.
Great looking shop you have, even though I’m jealous.
I really like the work bench, is it an older piece or did you varnish it?

You have a nice looking shop and a nice set of tools to play with as well. You must have a very understanding wife for her to give up her garage. I can say without a doubt that if I tried that with my wife I would be out in the weather before her truck would be.
Thanks for the post.
