Does anyone have any knowledge of ~

The Woodworker’s Marketing Guide by Martic Edic

If not, and if you do is this, or is there an alternative suitable information source designed for W-Workers?

Tony: Good to hear from you again. My brother in law bought me a book for Christmas. I don’t have the title in front of me, it is in the shop. It is very good, and it is about writing a marketing plan for a woodworking business. I have been planning on writing up a book review of it, but haven’t gotten that finished. The book was published by Fine Woodworking and has been in print for about 10 years. I have found it to be very good, a normal business plan/marketing plan guide, but with a focus and examples based on selling woodworking. The author’s brother-in-law was the inspiration, as the author has helped him with his woodworking business plans.

I will come back and give you the title when I get it.

I have read the book (“The Woodworker’s Marketing Guide” by Martin Edic) you mentioned. I bought it on Amazon a few months ago.

It does have some good information on creating a marketing plan for a woodworking business. I found most of the information helpful. The author emphasizes how things must be so precise, so professional, etc. For example, he said if you are not a very good photographer, then you need to hire a photographer for your pictures. I think some of these functions you are able to do, even if you are not professional level. Especially if you are just starting up and do not have a ton of money to spend.

Overall, I think the book is a worthwhile read.
