Well, here is my man cave! The cabinets (minus the drawers and doors) were made from scraps salvaged during the building of our house. I made the tablesaw outfeed table top slide off one end to assist with large projects as the base cabinet front I’m currently building. An added benefit ot the sliding top was not needing to cut mitre slots. The Jet jointer is a lucky find yesterday, it was found in a shed and looked a little rough but got it for $100, it cleaned up fine. I took before and after pics so I may make that my first project. I will add more to this later.

Looking good. In your basement I assume. Mine is a basement shop also but the size is much smaller than yours and is limited because of granite or limestone or some kind of rock that would take dynamite to excavate.

Timbo,
You have a nice looking shop in which to work. It appears as if you have plenty of room in which to move tools and wood around. You have some nice looking tools as well. The Jet jointer really looks good, especially given the $$ you paid for it. I would enjoy working in there.
Thanks for the post. I enjoyed visiting with you.

Good looking shop you have there. How did you make that table top slide like that? That’s a neat idea and one I had never thought of.

cabinetmaster, the table top consists of two pieces 3/4” plywood there is an aluminium u channel screwed in the edging of the top plywood piece and captures the edge of the bottom plywood piece. Not sure if can visualize that, maybe I’ll add a pic.
