Thanks for the generous welcome eveyone. Hopefully one day next year (less than 2 weeks now!) I will have time to post some pictures and make a short bio.

My wife and I (we have 5 kids – 2 in college 3 left in the nest; all 3 entering college one at a time over the next three years) are building an add-on to a home on a couple of rural acres and remodeling the part it is attached to that was already there. Using my sawmill and doing an eclectic mix of stick frame, timber frame, SIPs, and anything else that strikes our fancy.

As such, my woodworking has been on hold for some time but my aim is to get it cranked back up this summer/fall. Aftrer we get moved in and the current projects completed we will begin the 16×50 timber frame addition to the east side of the amalgamted hacienda. Well there you have it. A short bio already. One less thing to do next year. ;-)

Thanks again for the warm welcome.
