What I did on my summer vacation

New here and thought I’d try things out with a few pics of my current project.

Back in 2003 I built a 28’ x 40’ workshop in my yard…
Recently I needed to move and rather than start over I moved the building too.

Here is an attempt at a few shots in sequence of the moving and the new location once landed.

shop raise 2

shop in drive - inside view

shop in driveway

shop rolling

shop backing in

shop nudura ready

shop approaching foundation

shop rolong onto foundation

shop on foundation 1

shop on foundation 2

shop- inside ready for floor

shop1 re-loaded

shop2 re-loaded

Hope that worked as planned?

This happened first week or 3 of August.

Since then I started a bigger project which is at the stage pictured below
Footings in…
house footing poured

ICF Foundation ready for concrete..
nudura formed

wall frame half way

as of Today, Oct 19.

truss-garage front

truss rear

Septic bed… Infiltrator Chamber system.

Building this house almost entirely solo (with a few friends help for the heavy stuff on occasion).
Will be using the workshop to build cabinets over the winter, trim, staircase etc etc…

That’s it for now, back to work ;)

A huge undertaking Steve.
You have more ambition than anybody I know and that special resolve to keep going until you get it done.
It is my honor to have you as friend and mentor.

Like roman just said, I wish I was there to help too.
