Oak Mantel

This is a mantel I made yesterday for Brian, the contractor I do most of my work for. This was for a small remodel job. I will be installing it probably Monday or Tuesday next week.
The finisher is Rolly Willcox. He does all of Brian’s painting and staining, and is the one that got me hooked up with Brian. I owe him a couple six packs still. :) He had sprayed it with a first coat of lacquer about an hour before this picture which is why its standing on end.

Hi Sparky,

This looks pretty good right now. I hope that you are going to post some pictures when the installation is completed.

Thanks for the post.

Sparky,
It really looks like it will work. It will be fun to see it installed.
