Excellent Skip. I did not see your original, however this one was top notch. I actually have a project in mind that will have curved edges.
I loved the “realism” of the video. I chuckled when you kicked somthing out of the way to get access to the carpet tape. Its easier to nudge with a toe then bend over and pick up. :-)

Great video, well done. I have one question though. What is the point of the second part of the jig? (Reproducing the “positive” part of the curve) Unless you are duplicating the “table” in question, there is no need. To produce the part you made in the video…you only need the first part of the jig. This assumes that you made that jig from the actual “table top”....which you could. If the “original” curve was just a “template” for the final material, which would have the curve on both ends, then there is a point to making a better version of the positive.
I am certainly not criticizing…just further explanation. There may be some that don’t understand why you made a jig that you didn’t “use”?
