I joined long ago and just did not get to post anything. My website http://www.my-wooden-creations.com has not gotten many hits. I also discovered that I do not like making videos. It is really hard for me to talk to a camera. So, I think I will move to Lumberjocks and post photos and blogs on projects instead. Here’s to the future.

I would love to see your project. I need ideas and I know you have to be better than me. You have a web site!
I went to you website and you have to transfer the inlay video so others can see it here. I leaned a lot.

Skip,

Glad to have you on LJ!

I just went over to your site and checked out your projects. I also watched 3 of your videos.

Here’s the tough love: Keep the website and keep making videos! The videos are pretty good. Remember that you are sharing with friends in the shop, it is no different showing us standing 8 feet away or 800 miles away.

I found the videos informative and your video productions are clean. They are way better than a lot of other videos that I have seen.

It is helpful for people to read a typed description, I give those, but the video teachings are way more valuable.

You have already overcome the technical learning curve on the video making and you have too much knowledge and skill to not share in this manner. For others that are beginning, there is so much to be learned by seeing the nuances of the physical motions that you make when captured in video.

I hope to get some video out but my business hasn’t allowed much time. I think you have a good thing going and I hope you keep it going.

Skip,

I just watched your video on scrapers and I have to say that was the best, simplest, and most informative one covering scrapers that I have seen. It really put everything on my level (rookie) and am really glad that I found it. I have bookmarked your website for future reference.

Thanks again for putting out a GREAT video.

Skip,

I just looked at your website and it looks to be well organized and pretty informative. If you can manage the time I would keep it up and running as well as posting here. I agree with Martin.
