Grew up on a farm with lots of woodworking tools in the shop, though not much time to use them for hobbies. Later, taught adult ed shop and decoy carving in Southfield, Michigan. Worked with Gilchrist-Bahns on their toy designs and produced over 800 children's toys for charities.

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Jocks,

My son’s father-in-law works for Sterling Saw Blades in New York. He sent me a 1/2-inch meat/bone bandsaw blade that is out of this world for straight cuts, especially resawing. The blade leaves both sides of the kerf looking like they’ve already been rough sanded. I’m sure you can get the blades elsewhere, but Bob Smykla at Sterling would surely love to get more business. www.diamondsaw.com or phone 800-828-1180 and tell him Ryan’s dad sent you.
