I have a small amount of BLACK WALNUT logs for sale. If you buy it you’ll need to pick it up because I will not ship it. I have about three logs about 8” in dia. about 8’ long sections they have been stored outside for about two years. I got them from my grandparent’s property before they pasted away. So I guess I’m seeing if anyone is looking for some logs or if they know anyone that would like to buy some logs? Thanks for your time

any more info? Location? how they were stored (covered? elevated off the ground?). I’m sure there are more questions from more knowledgable people, but you may want to start with these. Also, if you have photos, that could really help you to get some interest.

I’d hazard a gues that the logs are somewhere near Salt Lake City, Utah.. Look at Shaynes home page.

I’m probably out then, but I don’t see the webpage. I went to his profile and there is nothing posted. I’m probably looking right past it though.

An 8”x8’ log will yield 8 bft of “lumber” Doyle scale, just for reference. They would be decent size for a turner though I would imagine ?

If you look at my home page or work shop page and look at the photo of the outside. There on the left you can kind of see the logs I’m talking about. In the photo their are BLACK WALNUT & CEDAR they have been stored outside no cover and off the ground. Location is 10 miles from down town Salt Lake City, UT. I’m going to try to post some new photo’s but I need a little time to find them and then I will post them. Thanks for your notes.
