Amateur wood sculptor. I picked it up one day when I had to get a college date a gift for a dance. I carved her a rose out of pine. Man! I would like to get that back! I only do one or two pieces a year. I carved a "Our Lady of Lourdes" for my wife, and I do simple flowers for kids. I find that "imitating" real life comes easily enough, but I am astounded by those wood sculptors who can come up with something new.
I did a crucifix recently, and I'll try to post it.
Just graduated from an MBA from Stanford and I have the enviable position of trying to run my family's retail gift stores in NM, AZ, and CA.
