My shop is 1/2 of a two car detached garage. Since my wife enjoys parking her car in her half of the garage, all of my tools have to be easily moved around. This is about normal for my shop. Each tool has its place and most of the time they find their way back to their place after a long day. However, there must be some law of woodworking that says that at least a few tools have to be in the open on my work bench. Usually it doesn’t take too long to find what I am looking for…most of the time.

Hi Scotty,
Thanks for posting pictures of your shop. It looks like you have enough tools and room to get the job done. I especially like your work bench. I can guarantee you that if I had to ask my wife to put her truck out in the weather while I used her side of the garage I would be out in the weather before her truck would be. I am just glad that I have my shop in the lower garage.
Thanks for the post.
