My shop is AKA my two car garage (sans the cars and motorcycles). Here in Virginia Beach, most of us don’t have a basement because if you dig much deeper than 3 feet down, you are going to need a pump to keep your hole dry, so we use our garages for more important things like making saw dust. I have a wide variety of tools and before we go any further I guess I’ll give up the goods that I do own a Craftsman wobble dado blade and my eyes are downcast at the floor as I type this. There, I’ve said it. Well a couple summers ago I inherited some machines from my Father in law who had passed away so I drug them back here from Kansas and have been considering putting in an addition to space things out and give me more room to move around. I currently have an Antique Magna tools Shopsmith Model 10 E with most of the original attachments, A Craftsman Model 9558 10” Radial arm saw, A Grizzly Model G7942 drill press, A Grizzly model G1023 SL left tilting table saw, A Grizzly model G8027 dust collector, A Craftsman model 113206931 6 1/8” Jointer, A Ridgid model EB44241 oscillating edge/belt spindle sander, A Dewalt model DW733 thickness planer, A All-Trade 14” model995-B-14 Band saw, and numerous power hand tools that help take up most of my spare time.

Up the rebels and down with those that would look askance at your Craftsman wobble dado!!!
You have to start someplace, and that too is where I started until I could justify to myself purchasing the Freud kit I have. I still use the wobble model for quick and dirty work and in materials I don’t really care about square and the occasional tear out.
