Just the ticket for those difficult sanding tasks
Saturday morning I was lying in bed and on the TV was the lovely Jodi Marks touting the MultiMaster. Now, it’s difficult not to do what Jody says, she being all wonderful and woodworky. Customer service
My Jet bandsaw is coming on 4 years old. I know because I bought it at the IWF in 2004.It has the “Carter-style” roller guides. The lower guides adjust on a cam to get close to the blade. There are a number of folks I let use my saw but I will accept responsibility for not loosening the adjusting nut. In any case, the cam broke.First call to Jet got me a very nice, but unknowledgeable young lady who passed me over to a guy in service who said that he would fax me a parts list. (Nowh...
DowelMax precision dowel jig

The DowelMax is finely engineered. You can use it to install any number of dowels in various arrangements. The video that is available gives a great tutorial on...

I think that is where TimD made his first pen.I had been using CA and BLO as my preferred finishing method for bottle stoppers and pens. But that usually meant sanding to at least 4800 grit, three or four coats of CA and BLO and even then the next day the finish might have dulled down.Thought I’d give Craft Supplies Friction Polish a try.Just sanded to 2400 with mm then friction polish with a paper tow...
