Well, I’ve had a couple of comments on my photo…asking if I wear the tux in the shop. I guess it’s time to put that all to rest.
That is NOT how I look when I work in the shop… I do take off the cummerbund. -SST

I would have sugested loosening up the tie, but it may help keep the sawdust and chips from going down the front. BTW…you may want to switch to white or some other color, Black shows dust too much. :-)

now the cumber bun seems functional. Just think of all the pencils and small tools you could tuck in it

I may be switching to a lighter color for the summer. By the way, a cumber bun is roll that you put a cucumber on, isn’t it? -SST

I can understand wearing the tux in the shop. It keeps other people away because it’s a formal event.

Hmm, seems a little neanderthalic to drop the cummerbund… wait, I think that’s an admirable thing in woodworking???

Don’t worry SST. I know your secret. You wear the bow tie because an ordinay tie would get caught in the thicknesser roller. Only kidding.LOL.

SST,

I strongly suspect that this is a shot from your wedding day when you held the ceremony in your shop.

Sometimes I think I’m married to my shop…just ask my wife about that. -SST

You are definitely in casual clothes since you do not have a flower on your lapel – I would strongly urge getting a new tux in denim for those dirty jobs in the shop.

I’d rather see a man wearing a tux in his shop than using them.
