I know, I’m crazy trying to do this with only 2 weeks before the deadline but…
I picked up the maple today. I was charged for 16BF, but I think it’s really a little more. Of course, it’s clean, so it’s actually less.
While I was there, I picked up my usual supply of “random blocks”. This stack cost me only $20!
So, what am I making? Well, I wouldn’t be attempting this with only a 2 week deadline unless I already had the mold made from the canoe I previously made.
This is the front section of the canoe mold which I will be using to make an “Elegant/Rustic” wine rack. It will hold 9 regular wine bottles and 8 glasses.
Here’s a rough sketch of the plan (which is about as far as I get for any project – I usually work out of my head):
I’ll keep y’all posted on the progress.
