I was raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with a lot of exposure to a variety of furniture growing up. Regional furniture designs influenced current project ideas. These include Shaker, Amish, Mennonite, as well as other East-coast stlyles. Our homes and community are surrounded by many antiques. I took an interest in working with wood all, or most, of my half-century of living. Living in the Rocky Mountains since 1980, I took a special interest in the Aspen tree. I live and recreate in the country that surrounds me with Aspen, the western Uinta range.
