Rick’s having a blast at building one of John's Extreme Birdhouses
He’s been working on this Cape Cod house for a couple of weeks. Not much left to go – the roof and dormers and then mounting it to a post!

You can see a closeup of the front at the ””bunnies project.

oh.. forgot to say that the wood is stuff that we had kicking around in the shop. The bottom part is a pine board and the top is some of the old barn board from my great-grandfather’s farm. The bottom base is the headboard from an old waterbed.

That’s some swank dwelling for your feathered friends. Nice to use reclaimed lumber for the project as well.

yah… this morning, a bird chose Rick’s first birdhouse for his summer home. I can’t wait to get this one put up and see who moves in

Nice work Rick , i can,t wait to see it done. I just got 2 more barns to tear down so i won,t be running out of wood anytime soon .I love free wood.
