Hello Rick247,

Welcome to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be an interesting and rewarding part of your woodworking adventure.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Good Morning to all….

I make Jewelry Boxes, Keepsakes etc….For some reason, I am not thinking out of the box on an issue.
A request was made to me for a large quantity of less expensive boxes. The request is to have them with constant grain around the box. With that said…I miter all my boxes and I am looking for a way to speed the process a little and keep the tight joints as I always have in order to complete the order in a timely manner. My gut and experience is telling me that to speed the process is a no no and ultimately affect the quality. But I thought maybe I would throw it out there and see what comes back… with all the talent out there…I would like to tap into it and just maybe someone has an idea that would expedite the process and maybe has done similar projects. Thanks to all for taking the time to read this.
God Bless to all….
