Method to shiplap siding for a new workshop??
I would like to shiplap the roof boards for my new workshop roof. This is approx 1200 sq ft of one inch softwood lumber. My reason for doing this is the fact that after I board in the roof I know there will be quite a bit of shrinkage and as the c...

I start logging about 2nd week in Jan. I have to wait for the sea ice to freeze because my mill is on an island and the wood is on the mainland. Last winter we cut around 600 logs me and the wife. hauled them by snowmobile. Spruce and fir . Small amount of birch. The kiln is filled with 4/4 and 6/4 birch. Should be dry by end of Nov. Use a solar powered fan works great. Dry about 500 brd ft year. Sell some and use the rest to do projects for myself. Will post some more pics tonight.
