Lathe Stand Width - 1 reply I am about to build a lathe stand. I am wondering how wide the table portion should be? My thought is that the narrower the better, within reason, so that when using tools the handles do not hit the table and you can get the right angle on the tool rest. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Thanks. |

Twisted Box - 2 replies I am building a set of Corn hole boards (basically bean bag toss) and the boxes are twisted. The overall size is 2’ X 4’ and 4” high. The two by fours make up the frame. Ski stand - 2 replies I am in need of a ski stand to hold 2 pairs of skis, one downhill and one cross county. Does anyone have any plans for such a project? I have looked online but haven’t seen much. The stand must sit on the ground. Thanks for any help. |

Router table flatness - 3 replies I am making a router table out of an old solid core door. I used my router in a custom jig to make the door very flat, I thought and then when I take a straight edge and a light I see some high spots.
