I grew up in Delaware, went to school in Colorado Springs, did some more school back in Delaware, finished school, got a job for Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD. My last year at UD I met my wife and after climbing the property ladder a few times in Maryland we finally got a transfer with NGC to Buffalo, NY. She is from Rochester and all of her family is spread out from Rochester to the Adirondacks.
After moving up to Buffalo we became pregnant with our first child, it was then I decided to look into building rocking chairs. I had always just dabbled with woodworking, a couple tables, chests, etc. I liked doing the chairs so much I started a business, made a web site, found some local galleries to carry my chairs and other pieces and before too long I was selling my pieces and getting commisioned for more, that is very exciting.
So when I am not working FT as a design engineer for NGC or working in the wood shop, I spend my summers trout fishing and heading out to the Adirondacks to sit around staring at the lake. During the winter I am a member of the Kissing Bridge Ski Patrol, one of the local ski places, and of course snow-mobiling is big out here.
Our first son is almost 2 and our second son will be born the first week of September. We have 2 german shephards, 15 fish and a bearded dragon. Also anywhere from 100 to 2000 lobster roaches to feed said bearded dragon, but they are not really pets.
If you are ever in the Buffalo area, be sure to look us up!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
