Welcome to LJs. I am sure that you will find this to be an enjoyable woodworking experience.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks. I got off a train once in Burlington and hitchhiked to Salem to pick up my car. That was in the ‘60’s and I was rodeoing all over your country. Also once, on a family vacation we camped in the city park and got sprayed for mosquitos. I DO remember Burlington. LOL Have fun here it is a great place.

Hi Gene & Gregory
Thanks for the welcome! People seem to forget how many blessings they have. There was one time in my life when I lost a lot of money and material things. It brought me closer to God, my family and had my health. I am the richest man in the world! Those Grand-kids are priceless! Have a great Day!

Thanks for the explaination on the gunrack ND2ELK. I am not sure which of us is newer, but welcome. I also worked in the prison system. I worked at the Navy Consolidated Brig in Charleston SC. in industrial maintenance, and custody and control jobs.

Where in North Dakota? I ranched in western South Dakota for 23 years. I sure miss the hunting. I never had the chance to go Elk hunting, but I did get a .270 with that in mind. I put in for New Mexico this year, but didn’t draw.
