My shop is a 24’ x 30’ barn-style building that I rebuilt after the original went up in flames in October, 2003. It’s still not organized very well, but the layout is pretty well set.
Lots of power all around, and the lighting is designed to provide an even 100 foot-candles for my not-so-young eyes.
The shop layout was done in Visio, and while most of the pictures are accurate, the lathe size is not (Jet mini), and my tablesaw does not have the router in the extension.
I’ll get some recent pictures in here soon. (I really need to get the shop clean first…)

Nice recovery from the mess left after the fire. What is the upstairs used for?

Upstairs is a very nice “Activity Room” for the kids, with a big TV, bathroom, DVD player, LAN jacks all over the place. It would also make a nice office someday if I ever wanted one.

Hi Myron,
That is a scary picture. Have you started rebuilding your shop yet?
