Table Challenge #4: Shapely Legs

Blog entry by MsDebbieP posted 524 days ago 280 reads 0 times favorited 13 comments Add to Favorites
« Part 3: First stages Part 4 of Table Challenge series no next part

My legs are starting to take shape.

Rick and I raided the neighbour’s wood pile, or I should say selected a piece of wood after getting permission, and I now have a piece of wood that might be used for the legs.

Table Legs

The wood is long enough and hopefully wide enough to do the trick.

Type of wood: raided .. I mean… scavenged… I mean.. it’s a piece of firewood.

Table Progress:
Table top: check
4 Aprons: check
Legs: in the making (hopefully)
Shelf: still to be envisioned.
Learning Curve: humongous.

Did you take my legs. I was wondering what happened to them. Good luck…I’ll go get some of Franks, he’ll never miss them.

Very Good Debbie. I’ve been known to lust after my neighbors wood at times.

Darn. I saw “Deb” and “Shapely Legs” in the post headline and ran right over here. Needless to say, it’s not what I was expecting. ;-(

—-Ha! I knew someone had been out in the woods here raiding my woodsy treasures of legs, the wood spirits told me….I’ll have to put a bucket out there so the next ones that come along can leave a donation.

Debbie, sometimes it’s best when it been coveted….maybe I should send you some legs up your way.

GODSPEED,
Frank

I’m pretty excited about it – as is Rick and my daughter who has seen it for the first time.

AND .. it is a “stable table” !

This could get bad, because I want to see where your legs are connected. And i want to see inside your aprons where your top is attached to your legs.
