This has been one of my best birthdays ever!! First of all it was as if it was 3 days long!! And I have received some great gifts and lots of well-wishes from family and friends! (Thank you LumberJock-ers for all your kind thoughts).
Then last night we had family night and did a “video chat” with my son and his family. We had chinese food and played monopoly. That is so much fun. It’s just like they are sitting right here in our dining room.
Anyway, this morning I discovered the fortune cookies from our meal last night. I chose one (or it chose me) and my bubble was burst.
This fortune cookie has to be the “worst” fortune I have ever received!!!
“Get your feet on the ground, even though your friends might flatter you.”
Oh right… 3 days of people saying that I’m special – but don’t believe it. Come back to reality!!!
Oh well… such is life….... Back to normal life again…... Guess I have to wait another year to feel special
At least it started my day off with a laugh.
- Special Debbie.

I thought you were going to tell us that everyone in you family gave you a different woodworking tool that you’ve been wanting and that you spent the last three days in the shop with some of that newly aquired lumber from the sawmill. I was bracing for a barage of new projects being posted for the next two weeks. I’m so disappointed. 8^(
Forget the fortune cookie…your are special…God created you! ;^) Now go to the shop and create something!

Eat the cookie and wad up the fortune. What do Chinese bakers know about you.
