I like the finish, it looks like Cherry or Red Oak. What ever it is you and your wife made it perfert. I bet it took a lot of planing. And I think it will be around for 100 years. Congratulations, to you and your Wife.

Congratulations on this project. He looks like he is “well designed” and the “finish” seems like a long time in the future but it will be here before you know it. :)

Our son is now 14 going 20, there are days I do miss the littler version, all in all we are very proud of him.
