I worked wood for a living for about 12 years. I became quite skilled and made beautiful furniture and quality cabinetry. I dealt with clients, architects,
interior designers, and employees.
I also built classical guitars.
I got burned out on it. It hurt my body too much. I went into freelance writing and marketing as well. The money is better and the work isn't nearly as hard or dirty as woodworking.
Just because I don't love working wood for a living anymore doesn't mean you can't love it and make a nice life doing it. It's just a matter of knowing what you want out of life.
If you need jobs, the right jobs that put money in your pocket or grow your portfolio in the right way - then I can help you put together a systematic marketing strategy to get what you want out of your woodworking business.
Give me a call for a brief consultation and we'll see if we want to work together to build your business.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Welcome to LumberJocks, Loren. Nice group of folks here. It’s usually better if what you like to do is less like work and more like fun. I do my woodworking professionally, but I don’t let my work load dictate my hours to the point of taking the fun out of the craft. We look forward to your experiences and projects.
