New shop under construction #6: Finally...somewhat operational

Welcome! I thought I recognized the landscape in your shop construction photos. I’m in the AF and I’ve spent 5 years in MD (Ft. Meade). I always got my lumber at Hardwoods Inc. in Fredrick and once I discovered that joe woodworker lived nearby, I got all of my veneer from him. I sure miss the availability of good hardwoods around there. I was sorely mistaken in assuming it would be that convenient everywhere else. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone…
