I have a pretty modest workshop (really, really modest compared to the many beautiful shops posted here) in my garage. Most of my tools are of the battery operated variety. I really like using the Ryobi battery tools as there small, lightweight and cordless while still allowing me to get a lot of jobs done. Some things just dont work well on battery so I have a router, circle saw, jig saw and sander that come into play on and off throughout my projects’ lifecycles.
I’ll be needing a table saw and a scroll saw soon because I think they’ll provide me a lot more accuracy for certain things but for now I’m trying to learn the tools that I have (and take them to their limits) before adding any more. (Space and money are obstacles too.)
The pictures here are taken by my phone and a couple show projects I’ve completed and some (the ones with my son in them) are works in progress. The place isn’t much to look at but it sure helps me pass the time.

That’s a better setup than I had in my garage. Looks good to me!

It looks good to me as well. I like your lumber storage rack and it comes complete with stereo as well. Great idea.
It looks like you have plenty of help as well.
Thanks for the post.

The radio was one of my projects but seeing it up there I thought the same thing as you did. If I didn’t already have a stereo wired up, it would be sweet to have it on that cart.

Looks like a “plenty good ‘nuff” workshop to me! And a great helper, to boot!
