Retired electronic Engineer from Honeywell InterNational for thirty Years. I work in my basement 3 or 4 hrs. a day. I spent a little money on my 12" saw and over/under/ 16" planer/jointer. I make furniture, mostly shaker or Arts and crafts, but not my religion. I have been woodworking on and off since 1975. I Started out on a saw with a table 15" square. It was good at making picture frames and not very big ones at that. Then a Shopsmith kept me happy for several years. You guessed it ,moved to a Powermatic contractor saw with in a few years. I started in a basement shop then a two car garage then back to the basement. Overhead clearence is the only issue at this point. I have taken over the entire basement space since retirement. I am a proud Grandfather of 2. I baby sit the Grandson 5 days a week, while my son works all day. I survived a liver transplant last summer and have a new lease on life and hope to make furniture for the kids thru the years to come. Thats about it.

i’ll post some projects as soon as I figure out why I can’t download pictures from my camera to my PC all of a sudden. I think my cable is the culprit. I appreciate all the greetings and am excited about joining LJ”s
