So fresh and so clean.. Episode 2

Blog entry by Kaleo posted 142 days ago 159 reads 0 times favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites

Just thought I would let all my friends over here at Lumberjocks know that I recently posted my latest video adventure. This episode deals with the demo of an old table that yields some sweet reclaimed lumber. Also painting and stuff. The Unisaw finally makes an appearance. Check it out at Kaleo's Workshop

Hi Kaleo,

Nice video. Actually I hadn’t seen the first one yet so I went back and picked it us as well. You have a job ahead of you but I am sure the adrenaline rush is building. One suggestion I would have, and I am sure you are not going to like it, is that if you paint the floor with an epoxy it will not only lighten the shop up but also making cleaning the floor much easier. It costs about $50 per gallon and it will take 2 gallons to do a double car garage. But you have to enjoy painting to take this on.

Keep us posted on your progress, please. I enjoy seeing blogs like this. It is better than reality tv any day.

Later and have fun.

Hi Kaleo,

Glad to see you back in the country and getting set up. The videos are great and cannot wait to see the next installments. It is only a matter of time before you start pumping out some amazing furniture from this shop.

Scott – I just did a job today in a basement with an epoxied floor – I’m definately doing that to mine. So much easier on the broom (and eyes)... I could sweep for days and get nowhere… though I wonder if my really really old floor with balk at all the prep necc to clean it in the first place?
