Just when you (and I) thought I was done with my tablesaw improvements…
I noticed during some demo/construction at work, they were tossing out some perfectly fine laminated ply shelving. I also have been feeling the desire for some more outfeed room. I have a really small shop, so I couldn’t do a big huge extension table, even if I could do a big fold-down type, it just seemed like a waste, as I mostly work smaller, and I don’t do a lot of big ply breakdowns. (and when I do, I tend to use my TS55 in the driveway, because I have a small shop in a low ceiling basement, down a flight of stairs.)

I got a half dozen 6-8 foot pieces, about 12 inches wide.
So I trimmed a smaller piece off, put some dadoes and a cut into it..

Created some blocks to mount it to the rails (after drilling a few holes)

Nothing there to attach any supports to though…

Where’s that 1/4” drill bit.
There we go!

A few pieces of scrap later..

And I’ve got myself some outfeed room!

fin. (I mean it this time.)

(or do I?)

This looks like a great addition to the tablesaw and you have a nice, clean install.
I look forward to hearing what you think of the MasterSlide, I had thought about getting one of these myself.

Great looking extension – looks very usable and just the right size for a small shop. (Which mine is too, so you’ve totally inspired me!)
