Workbench Project #4: Jointed top complete!

I took another (room full of dust) pass with the jointing sled setup. You can see the low parts at the edges. I think by now I’ve taken more than 1/16 off the top.

You can see how it bows down in the corners.

And where poor control of the router and sled combo when stopping the router caused it to bounce and i got a small divot. Thankfully, it is very shallow and the next pass should clean it up.

One more pass and she should be plane!

Obviously the sled is a great way to do this. I’ve never tried it but thanks for the post.
