The time has come I have to move my shop to another building. It is met with happiness and sadness.
Soon I will begin to transform my shop building which is about 70’ X 30” into a home for us.
The building is in great shape a stick framed structure built back in the late 70’s. The building I will move to is a 30’ X 40’ steel masters type building i built about 5 years ago. I currently use it for restoring antique vehicles.
Here’s a pic of the building.
I have lots to do, run electrical dust collection, and for sure heating and air well that is after I insulate and finish the walls and ceiling.
The shop will remain where it is until I get the casework finished for the kitchen then the move begins.

That will be a real nice shop, Jim. Is it all going to be wood working, or are you still saving a spot for the auto work? I moved from auto work as a hobby. Got tired of the grease, broken parts, knuckles, etc. I only do it now to save a trip to the auto repair shops. Good luck with the move and keep us posted.

I agree that this looks pretty good. Keep up updated on the move.

I am going to install 1” ridgid styrafoam 4×8 sheets….1” should give me a R-19 rating if it were fiberglass.

I do have a 63 C 10 short bed in the shop and will keep a small area for it. I have not been able to part with it.
