Hi everyone -
My name is Jarrod, and I am a 29 year old aspiring fine-furniture maker from Taos, NM. I am looking forward to sharing my woodworking experience with everyone here, and more importantly I am interested and eager to learn from all of you.
Aside from woodworking I enjoy mountain biking, snowboarding, and rock-climbing all over the country - from the southeast to the northwest and all points in-between. From May-October I run a restaurant with my fiance in Eagle Nest, NM - a small summer resort located 35 miles from Taos, and about 10 miles from Angel Fire, NM. It's mostly in the fall & winter that I get to immerse myself in furniture and cabinet making.
In September '09 I plan to attend 9-Month comprehensive studies at either the Inside Passage School or Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. Please weigh in on your experience with either...
If you plan to be in Northern New Mexico anytime soon, please drop me a line and let me know. I can hang out and talk shop all day...
Regards,
JM
