Hi all, I am a 22 year old and have just completed my cabinet making apprenticeship. I live in the Australian island state of Tasmania which in my biased opinion is home to the world’s most beautiful timbers such as Huon pine (Lagarostrobos franklinii) Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) Tasmanian myrtle (Nothofagus cunninghamii) Tasmanian Oak which can refer to the wood of any of the following trees: (Eucalyptus regnans), (Eucalyptus obliqua) or (Eucalyptus delegatensis) and thats just to name a few of great Tasmanian timbers . If you get a chance I strongly recommend looking these timbers up. Anyway I hope to have some pics of my work up loaded soon.
Happy woodworking to you all

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
