Here is my woodshop, it’s in the basement of our home. I just recently put it back together after a brief layoff and all I have left to do right away is get the DC hooked up and then get started on some projects. One of the projects will be upgrading the vises on the bench. I have an Emmert Clone and I will be upgrading the tail vise.

That’s a really nice set-up. I like the workbench, assembly table, tablesaw/outfeed combination down the center of the room. Very clean and streamline.

Very nice and organized shop. Time to raise a dust cloud.

I see you stopped by my shop for a visit, had to return the favor and visit yours. What a great looking shop, very clean, mine hasent been that clean since I built it. are the floors wood or cement, couldent tell from the photo.. My old shop that burned down had wood floors, Ins. dident pay enough for me to build the new one with wood floors so went with a cement slab, wish now I spent the extra money and built back with wood…Now im thinking rubber flooring to cover the floor, I priced it out at 2k, thats more than I paid for the 24’x24’ slab….

Mark,

Thanks for stopping by. My shop floor is concrete but I have the anti-fatigue mats for it. They sure are nice to have. I took the pictures before I reinstalled them.

That is the cleanest shop that I have ever seen in my life. You are very organized. I love your set up. Wish I could afford those kind of tools. I do love you shop though. You layed it out very nicely.

Wish I could keep my shop that clean. Don’t think mine was that clean when I built it.

Thanks John. My shop is around 13’ wide x 23’ at its longest point. You definitely have enough elbow room, I’m always fighting with mine and IT keeps winning :)

Does someone actually work in that shop. Only in my dreams will my show ever look like that. I’m impressed, to say the least. Great setup!

Dave,

Yep, I do some work in there. Like I said I just put it back together so that’s why it’s so clean. Come by sometime and you will see it the way it really is :) Right now I am in the process of a project which I will post in a day or two and it’s quite a mess in there.

Thanks!
John

Hi John,

How did I miss this when you originally posted it? This is a wonderful shop. It is CLEAN ( I did check and see if you had posted any projects) :) and well organized. I really like your cabinetry and lumber stash. You have a nice set-up for your table saw. And you have a nice set of tools to play with.

Is your floor epoxied?

Thanks for the shop tour. I really appreciate the opportunity to visit.

You are welcome! Yes, the floor is epoxied. It has really held up well. I also use anti fatigue matting around the shop.

Thanks!

Nice clean shop. Looks like an efficient layout as well. What kind of material is your lumber rack made from and how is it attached to the wall? It looks like you can really load it up.

nice to hear you are messing it up. A shop this clean looks unused and cry’s for a woodworker to put it to work. most wives would think you were cheating if you came back from the shop without a little sawdust in tow.

All right, John, I’m really disappointed in you. There’s unpainted OSB around the door.
