      <title>Changing table - My first big project</title>

        <![CDATA[<p>I have finally started building the changing table for my brother and his wife.  I got the plan from u-bild.  I am building the project out of red oak.  I have the pieces all cut and ready to assemble at this point.  I have assembled a few pieces, getting to use my finish nailer for the first time.  That thing is a little scary the first couple of squeezes of the trigger.  My saw is cutting through the oak just find, after figuring out the speed I needed to feed it.  Pictures to follow later today i hope&#8230;more progress to follow&#8230;</p>

	<p>(9/9/08) Have finished the carcass.  Still have to make the drawers and doors.  Have made a few mistakes along the way, but nothing I have not been able to repair.  Haven&#8217;t had time to get the pics loaded and figure out the blog pic posting&#8230;</p>


	<p>(9/13/08) All put together&#8230;Now in the sanding/finishing stage.  Using a honey pine glossy finish per request of the new owner.</p>]]>
