The bandsaw is completely together with the miter and fence holder… the Fince holder is not so great but the miter holder seems to work well. I did some test cuts with the stock blade… not bad pretty smooth… did not check the drift yet … wasn’t seriously testing the saw…. not sure I could really even wright a real review for it as I am so new to bandsaws and woodworking… I also haven’t done a nickel test yet but I will do that in the am.
On dust collection… I would say a dust collector is needed… the few little cuts I made created a fair amout of dust. /so off to woodcraft I go for a dust collector (there goes the rest of the stimulous check… I think I only really stemulated woodcraft LOL) But in all honesty the crew at the woodcraft have been GREAT!!!!! Gave me a deal on the dust collector, hose and fittings I needed along with some plans a picked up. My wife was with me( I have learned I actually get much more when she is with me) sugested that I get an anti fatigue mat ( I have been having issues with my feet in the last few monthes something about kicking a workbench) so the manager I have been dealing with threw it in for me. Did I mention the staff there is awesome, they have really treated me great and are very informative and patient with me when I ask noob questions.
So its been a good day!!!!!

I am so jealous, I want a band saw in the worst way.

Hrolfr,
I was just reading this series and could not help but wonder; Are going to the Woodcraft in Clearwater?
I drove from Jacksonville all the way down there to buy my General tablesaw and Jet Bandsaw. They were great to work with loaded everything up in my truck and tossed in a mobile base to boot. Of course, that was before the Woodcraft opened in Jacksonville.
