The challenge of woodworking has always intrigued me. I have dabbled in the art for a while, but have in the past few years I have been drawn deeper and deeper into the craft. It seems like I am always learning (sometimes the hard way)
I have a very simple woodshop that I am gradually remodeling to my tastes/needs and adding tools as the Queen allows.
I really enjoy cabinetry and furniture making but have found a special bond in grandfather clock making.
Living in rural Nebraska I am isolated from a local supply of quality or exotic wood supplies. The same goes with professional grade wood working tools. So I make do with what I can get my hands on.
The Queen and I have been blessed by 2 great girls. They are the center of our lives right now and involved in everything that a kid should be. Of course that greatly limits the time availale to be in the wood shop...but that is a pretty good trade.
Looking forward to sharing my projects with you, and hae already been impressed by the artfull creations that I have viewed on the posts created by you other members.

Welcome Trevor. It looks like you are able to find a little free time for fishing. Is that a muskie in the photo? I’m not sure which is more relaxing for me…. fishing or woodworking. Again, welcome, and I’m looking forward to see your posts.

Hi There
Welcome to LumberJocks. Good group of people with helpful tips, ideas and a love for the craft of woodworking. Beautiful job on the clocks. I made a grand mothers clock 35 years ago that my daughter now has. OK where did you get the fish? That ain’t no pond raised Nebraska fish. When I lived in North Dakota we used to go fishing in Canada.
