Lots of detail for the newby and some great tips for the rest.
I forgot about that centering device for locating the correct axis for the drill press.
I’ll use that one today.
You got a very professional pace to your tutorials that takes drag out of many presentations.
Kudos to your camerman. The shots are clear and on target with your instructions.

Up till now it’s been a snail’s pace but I’m on the road and picking up speed.

Gord, That is a nice video. I would never had envisioned making a miter gauge. That is something that you go to Woodcraft or Rockler for and pay mucho bucks for one. Your post is really inspirational. I could see myself doing something like this when I find a need for another miter gauge.

You are right it really isn’t that complicated.

Wow, thank you for the video and the great information. Everything you said in the video makes sense and I think I will be able to create my own mitre gauge, well at least the metal parts…I’ll have to find the second part to this video. Thank you again for making and posting this!
