My woodworking interests have been primarily woodturning liidded containers and hollow vessels. After changing homes and not having a shop for almost two years I developed a new interest in flat woodworking and incorporating the use of more hand tools and manual methods into my projects. I now have a new shop and have been acquiring and practising with both antique and modern hand tools when time permits.
Outside of my woodworking interests, I am also an avid sea kayaker, nature lover and occasional photographer. I earn my living working in R&D for a very large European consumer electronics company.
I'm not doing much actual woodworking lately. Unfortunately, my wife is suffering from an advanced, terminal cancer and most of my free time is devoted to her for the foreseeable future.
