I remember we had one about half maybe 3/4 the size of that one and it was it had a crank one would crank and the other one would sharpen the axe also it was rigged with pedals and had a seat you would sit down pedal to turn the stone and sharpen your axe

I forgot to say we used a part of an old car tire at the bottom to hold the water because those stones needs water all the time

This is huge! I have an 18” diameter water stone with a motorized set-up sitting in the basement of my grandmother’s waiting for the day I get a bigger shop! I believe I paid $50.
