I am 55 & trained as a Journeyman Car / Truck / Heavy Equipment / Small Engine / Hydraulic Mechanic. Five years ago I burned out on this line of work & started a new career as an Apprentice Electrical Mechanic & am now a Journeyman Electrical Mechanic. Electrical Mechanics work in the Electric Utility industry & I work on Electric Substations around the neighborhood. Much more interesting work.
I live in historic Florissant, Missouri. Florissant is in St.Louis County & on the Muddy Missouri River just upstream of the Mighty Mississippi River.
I've been interested in woodworking since I was about 15. I have too many hobbies & try to combine my hobbies to make interesting & useful projects.
And Please... If anyone has questions about how I may have done something or other... or about something that doesn't show in the photos or descriptions... feel free to send a message. I would be happy to share ideas with everyone!

Hello FJPetruso,
Let me welcome you to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be a rewarding and exciting element of your woodworking journey.
-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Hello to all you fellow termites!
Thanks for the Welcome!
LJ is pretty cool… I see that some of you other members are insomniacs like me. Seems like the best time to get on the computer is at night so the wife doesn’t have to complain about the noise from the planer in the garage.
Do some of you members have the same problem as me?... Too Many Hobbies? I do try to keep the hobbies kind of related & have some of my projects compliment each other. I’ll post a few of my past projects that will give you an idea of the type of “stuff” I like to work on.
Thanks Again for the Welcome!
Frank
