Working with wood is my passion getting to early retirement is my dream! Recently decided to give chairmaking a go to see if I can drum up enough business to keep me active when I do retire. I'm only 46 so I have a way to go but at least I have found something that doesn't feel like a job. My wife is into various crafts and we have discussed maybe opening some sort of shop in the future. Raising our children and getting them headed in the right direction is our biggest concern right now.

Hello All,

Recently visited with Mike Dunbar in NH to learn how to build a Windsor chair. It was a great experience and I recommend the class for anyone who would like to get away from the noise of power equipment for a stretch. My wife got the classs for me as a gift last Christmas and has gotten another one for me for our anniversary. She must really want that dining room set!
