I’m very excited. This will be, by far, my most expensive woodworking tool so far. It should be here Wed… now I just need some rough cut stock!

I’m very new to woodworking, and I’m just finishing up my first real project, an easel for my daughter based on the NYW plan. Before that, I made the NYW table saw station for my second hand Ryobi TS that I picked up for $40 (about what it is worth). That project was a bit of a disaster but that is another story. I’ll post more about both projects and create projects for them when I have more time and a couple of pictures.

Anyway, I’m really excited about becoming involved in the LJ community since I don’t really know anyone into woodworking in real life.
