United States Marine Corps Ret. MSgtt Semper Fi!
If it's anything under the wood column, I like it. Lost all my outsheds
shops to hurrican ivan and katrina. They didn't touch my spirt for the
good in all and any wood. Do some carving, drawing, pyrography. If I
hang around and watch and wish, it will be alright with me. I can post
my furniture and such that I have made over the years.

Thanks to all you noteworthy wood experienced people. I’m sure I am surrounded with some of the top notch in the trade. I will try and explain what I’m up against. Ole Ivan came through here and took everything out but our house, shade trees, buildings and all. Thank goodness, never broke a window out of the house. Wasn’t too long after that I killled a deer on the interstate with my bike. She t-boned me out from behind a bridge abuttment while I was passing a semi, seen her face under my armpit heard the bang and blinked my eyes. Her breast bone caught my left leg, shattered it and bent the frame through my leg.
The good part about it, I never dropped the bike for I was running 80 mph. This took place l Oct 2005 and after eight surgeries and a load of determination I’m just now back to walking without a limp. X-rays look like a dang junk yard. I have all my things left that I built here in the house and I will post some of it as time goes along. I’ve been busy on my art work, pyrography and carving a little along, plus trying to get some of the mess outside cleaned up from opal, ivan, dennis and katrina. I didn’t put this down for anything but explaining what I’m doing submitting old things. I’ve not used paragraphs so it wouldn’t take up too much space. By the way my Avitar picture is up over the bucket seats in my 1956 Chev. Panel Delivery. Have the two panels inside and the four doors covered with art work all on birch. Thanks for all the nice comments and the warm welcome aboard. I wish each and all a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with blessings.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

Thank you for serving your country!!!!!!!!

Pat, thanks a bunch. I reckon what makes a person stand out of the ordinary is to be a good human being. I have the uncany way of picking up on someone’s ability to follow those guide lines and treat them accordingly. I have never picked up on a negative attitude from the many people I’ve communicated with here, dang a computer sure can bring an ole redneck out of the piney woods. My Debbie is from Ohio, so that mason dixie line dosen’t mean much to me, it takes us all to make this the great country that it is!!
