My New Old Table Saw
I have been woodworking for a while now. For years I used an old 8” craftsman saw. You can see a photo of it under my shop photos. I put a lot of wood through this saw and it always just worked – sometimes with a lot of effort. The...

Thanks for the warm welcome. Truth be told, I’ve been lurking here for almost a year now and I already knew I liked it. I first stumbled onto LJ when I was looking for a fence alternative for my old craftsman saw (I’ll blog about that real soon now). One of my searches turned up Hutch’s homemade fence for his saw and I’ve been hooked ever since. This place is a fount of practical advice about and real, concrete examples of woodworking.
I just didn’t think I had anything to contribute until now. Check out the lathe stand I just finished last month and tell me what you think.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless
